Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of this website and the provision of services by Ad Astra Interiors (“the Business”, “I”, “me”, “my”).

By accessing this website or engaging the Business services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services

2.1 Full Interior Design Services

Ad Astra Interiors offers comprehensive interior design services, tailored to each individual client and project.

The scope of work, design deliverables, timelines, fees, and payment structure will be defined in a bespoke written agreement, issued via email and agreed prior to the commencement of any project.

A full set of detailed Terms & Conditions, specific to the project, will be provided alongside the client contract.

2.2 Design Consultation

The Business offers a 30-minute design consultation, which may be booked online.

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking
  • Consultation fees are non-refundable
  • The consultation provides professional guidance and creative direction but does not constitute a full design service

3. Fees & Payment

All fees will be clearly outlined prior to engagement.

  • Consultation services (excluding the 30 minutes online consultation) in person or virtual, will be invoiced in accordance with the agreed proposal or contract
  • Project-based services will be invoiced in accordance with the agreed proposal or contract
  • The Business reserves the right to suspend or withhold services in the event of non-payment

All payments are processed securely via Shopify where applicable, and are stated in GBP (£).

4. Project Agreements

Each full-service project is governed by a separate, tailored agreement issued to the client. This agreement will take precedence in defining the commercial and operational terms specific to the project.

A comprehensive set of Terms & Conditions will be issued alongside the contract and must be agreed prior to project commencement.

5. Design Development & Amendments

The design process is structured in clearly defined stages, each requiring client review and formal approval.

Once a stage has been approved (including but not limited to concept design, layouts, specifications, and decoration schemes), any subsequent changes, revisions, or deviations requested by the client will be treated as additional work and charged separately.

Such changes may also impact project timelines.

6. Cancellations

  • Consultations: All bookings are final and non-refundable
  • Full Design Services: Cancellation terms will be outlined within the individual project agreement

7. Intellectual Property & Creative Ownership

All intellectual property rights in and to the Business work remain the exclusive property of Ad Astra Interiors.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Design concepts and creative direction
  • Layouts, drawings, and spatial plans
  • Mood boards, specifications, and schedules
  • Visualisations and presentations
  • Furniture, fixtures, finishes, and decorative schemes

All creative input and design solutions developed by the Business are protected by intellectual property rights.

Upon full payment, the client is granted a limited, non-transferable licence to use the approved design solely for the agreed project and location.

The Designs may not be reproduced, shared with third parties for separate use, adapted, or executed outside the agreed scope without prior written consent.

8. Photography & Publication

The Business retains the right to professionally document the project, including photography taken before, during, and after completion, for use in portfolio, editorial features, and marketing.

Clients may not publish, distribute, or commercially use any imagery of the project without prior written consent from Ad Astra Interiors.

Where discretion or confidentiality is required, this may be agreed in writing prior to project completion.

9. Supplier & Contractor Coordination

To ensure design integrity and consistency of execution, all project-related communication with suppliers, contractors, and third-party providers shall be conducted through Ad Astra Interiors unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The Business will act as the primary point of contact for all design-related coordination.

The Business cannot accept responsibility for discrepancies, errors, or deviations arising from direct engagement between the client and third parties outside this structure.

Ad Astra Interiors provides a fully managed procurement service as part of its design offering.

The Business will:

Once all specifications have been reviewed and formally approved by the client:

Due to the nature of the design industry:

  • Lead times, availability, and pricing may vary
  • The Business is not liable for delays, discontinuations, or defects arising from third-party suppliers

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The Business shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
  • Liability for any claim shall be limited to the total fees paid for the relevant services
  • The Business is not responsible for the workmanship or performance of third-party contractors or suppliers
